2014

School established by the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa, in Bicholim.

2023-24

Enrollment reaches 201 students (114 boys, 87 girls).

2024-25

Student body grows to 211 students (121 boys, 90 girls).

2025-26

Current enrollment of 213 students. Awarded PM SHRI Scheme status.

Serving Bicholim Since 2014

PM SHRI Government High School Bicholim was established in 2014 by the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa, housed in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj School Complex Building near the Market Area of Bicholim.

The school was founded with the vision of providing quality secondary education (Standard VIII to X) to the students of Bicholim and surrounding areas. With English as the medium of instruction and affiliation to the Goa Board (GBSHSE), the school has been committed to academic excellence from its inception.

Over the past decade, enrollment has grown steadily from its early years to 213 students in 2025-26, reflecting the trust and confidence of the community. The school has been selected under the prestigious PM SHRI scheme, marking it as a model institution for rising India.
